Meet Ningjada
I am a figurative oil painter whose work is shaped by lived experience, emotional truth, and the quiet stories found in everyday life. My Ilokano and Tagalog heritage grounds my practice, informing the symbols, sensibilities, and cultural memory that appear throughout my work. Alongside my figurative paintings, I create soft pastel pieces and small abstract morning studies as part of a meditative daily rhythm — a way of letting intuition and inner landscape guide my hand
Across all mediums, my art reflects resilience, identity, and the subtle narratives that shape who we are. My work is not created for decoration; it is created to hold meaning — to offer viewers a moment of recognition, reflection, or emotional connection. Every series, whether ancestral, abstract, or deeply personal, is connected by the same impulse: to map the inner landscapes that hold memory, emotion, and the stories beneath the surface.
